One useful tip is to consider using water purification tablets or a device that will purify and filter your water, as this will avoid having to carry several containers of water.
When looking for lightweight camping gear, you will want to make sure that it will suit your needs. If you will be hiking in cold conditions, don’t opt for the thinner sleeping back because it’s lighter, instead go for the heavier sleeping bag and eliminate items from your pack to make up for the extra weight. Also, by using hiking poles you will help ease and distribute the weight of your pack.
