They can also be rolled up into a smaller package, making them easier to carry and transport.
Mummy sleeping bags: Mummy bags are the smallest designed sleeping bags on the market. These are even narrower than the tapered design, and fit snug from the shoulders down to the feet. They can also come with a hood so you can literally wrap yourself up like a mummy. And they roll up even smaller than the tapered and are much easier to carry.
